CALL OUR CONTROL CENTRE ON

0800 282 449

CMG provides HGV recovery and commercial vehicle recovery across the UK, 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Our fleet attend everything from roadside breakdowns, accidents and overturned vehicles, and we can recover to any destination you choose. We attempt a roadside repair first, so your vehicle gets moving again wherever possible. One call to our 24-hour control centre at 0800 282 449 starts the job. CMG has recovered vehicles for UK operators since 1972. For cars, vans and motorcycles, see our vehicle recovery service.

How quickly does CMG attend an HGV breakdown?

Broken down vehicles cost money, so we deploy the nearest available asset immediately and prioritise a roadside repair to minimise your downtime.

Every CMG vehicle is GPS-tracked. You get real-time updates throughout the process and on your vehicle's status, which keeps your transport office in control rather than waiting on hold.

If the fault can be fixed at the roadside, we fix it. Our service vans carry an extensive range of spares, and non-stock parts can be sourced and delivered at any hour of the day or night.

Who does CMG work with?

CMG is trusted by many major insurers, hauliers and emergency services, and has been for over 50 years. We also work with fleet operators, garages and body shops, bus and coach companies, and plant and machinery owners.

We work in close partnership with Police forces and Highways England and we helped develop specialist recovery training with the Institute of Vehicle Recovery.

“Their office team kept me updated, were professional and knowledgeable ... The technician who resolved my trailer issue, Jason, methodically troubleshooted where the issue was coming from, he found it and passed on the knowledge to me.”
